World War II author Gary Bridson-Daley as a guest at Cornfield Arnhem
In September 2024, the Arnhem region will extensively commemorate the Battle of Arnhem, 80 years ago. Numerous events and commemorations will be organised for this under the name: Airborne Region.
For this special occasion, Gary Bridson-Daley, author of various books with personal stories from the Second World War, travelled from the UK to the region and stayed at Cornfield Arnhem during the festivities week.
Gary Bridson-Daley started his Debt of Gratitude Project in 2014 to honour a quickly disappearing generation to who we owe so much. The generation who served in and went through the Second World War. Gary has dedicated his time to spending time with them capturing their incredibly important personal historical testimonies.
